Project Description
El Charrito is an authentic Mexican food deli and specialty convenience store in downtown Salinas, CA. The store has been serving the community in this same location for well over 30 years . We were called in to modernize their brand and increase productivity of their equipment without loosing the authentic look and feel of a their deli and grocery store. The Perfect Fit USA supplied El Charrito with the layout design and equipment fixture schedule, interior design services, all of the new equipment and the cabinetry with furnishings.
Unique to this equipment package is the custom 25′ cabinetry envelope and curved glass sneeze guard we designed and supplied for this client. This envelope wraps around three (3) 6′ hot food warmers and two (2) 3′ sandwich prep tables allowing El Charrito to use the type of equipment they prefer and to give the appearance of one equipment structure to the customer. This envelope is constructed with powder coated steel and stainless so it’s built to last and keep it’s shape. Also on the opposite side the store we built a 35′ metal beverage cabinet and 30′ metal cashier cabinet with return.
At the time we placed this project onto our website this store’s remodel was not quite finished. More to come.
